Time for a Christmas Tea Party!
This is a note to all the Mommies out there reading my blog. My girlfriends mother called her the other day and said, I'm having a Christmas Tea party (for the little ones), please come! She said when her mom called she "had magic in her voice"! The magic that she remembered when she was a little girl!
This is what her Mom did for her grandkids, a Christmas Tea (which happily included Hot Chocolate for sipping)
This is how you do it girls! A dream day for little princesses and the pink of it all makes it even that more special!
Remember Mommies, you ARE the magic that makes Christmas so special whether it is a tea or a cookie making party. These memories we hold for our entire lives! Enjoy your holiday and making memories!

'Tis The Season
Christmas is nearly here! This is a great time to come visit either of my stores and purchase some fun togs for your little ones or the little ones you know! Christmas is never the same without new clothes! I still remember each year getting my new Christmas jammies and after all these years I now know why! Mommy wanted us kids to look perfect in our Christmas pictures! AH!
Here is a photo of moi that my friend took my last Christmas in California sitting by the fire at our local pub and eatery across the street! Doesn't it look festive and warm!!! Come visit me, I would love to see you and see what we can find for your little one!
If you don't feel comfortable buying clothes, why not buy a cool phrase or the little rocker or princess' name?
Nothing says it like these colorful letters hand-cut and made just for Cradle Will Rock! If you need custom colors, just let me know.

Have You Seen My Puppy?
Yes, I have a new pet. My new poodle! Maybe you have seen her? She is pink and is as cute as a button! She has green eyes and blue ribbons on her ears! She looks like she is smiling at you!
What do you think we should name her? I am taking suggestions. Show this photo to your little one and let them contribute too!

Stylize & Winterize Your Summer Attire!
Just because winter is nearing doesn't mean you can't take what was so cool in summer and warm it up for fall or winterize it during the winter months. See how some of my Mommy Friends are styling and Fall or Winter-izing their summer wardrobes! This is the way to "stylize and winterize" (and should I mention "recession-ize" my Cradle Will Rock pillowcase dress or princess dress.
Winter and Fall = Layers
Think turtlenecks & long sleeves
Think tights or leggings
Think cable knit sweaters
Think Uggs or Boots
Think little knit hats, scarves, mittens
Think jeans or cordouroys
Think jean jackets
These photos are proof that you can style your little one with your summer togs. Come check out some of my new dresses with great warm colors!

My Apologies... I've Been Busy Again!
If you were wondering why I haven't posted to my blog as often as I normally do, you will know that I have been busy.
First, I had to prepare for the World Equestrian Games. I was sewing like mad and getting supplies ready for the onslaught called "The Games". I have never seen anything like it! A very cool event that brings all the countries right here to Lexington. The Olympics, just for horse events. LOVE!
The other is that as you all know, I bought a new house. That has been keeping me busy when I am not at the store.
Well to add to that, I have a new secret! Yes... a new big surprise and secret!
I will reveal it soon.
Some hints: pink shag carpet
blue awning, red antique ladder,
pink retro tricycle
tattoo art and more hints to come.

Remember when...
You and your best friend in the whole wide world would buy the same dress or top and wear them on the same day? OH! To be young again. We all wanted to be a twin. Well these two look happy and I am happy that they look so cute wearing my dresses.
You can see they work well as a dress or a top! Wear it how you wish. Dress it up, layer it, make it fun!

Secret in my Garden....
Indeed, a little secret in my garden! CUTE!!! Don't you just love her? I love the smile, the dress and the garden. Thanks Mom's for sending me photos of your little angels! Adorable!
I would love to have everyone be this cute. I have a few postings to catch up on. I've been sewing like mad. The World Equestrian Games are nearly here. Lots of people will be here. Could just about wrap up the year with a good showing! The games are from 9/25 to 10/10.
www.alltechfeigames.com
If you want to check it out online, you can watch the races. They will have all sorts of competitions: dressage, vaulting, driving, endurance, reining, jumping, para dressage, and eventing. The World Equestrian Games are comprised of the world championships for eight equestrian sports. The Games are held every four years, two years prior to the Olympic Games, and are governed by the Fédération Equestre Internationale (FEI). 58 countries have submitted nominations. Everything you would or could want to know, you will learn here.
This is what makes Lexington wonderful... we are in horse country!

Cradle Will Rock the Boys!
I know many of you have been asking me about my boys inventory. I will tell you a secret. My store in Seal Beach was saturated with boys apparel. I pined and whined for more girl wear. The reason I opened my store was because I had boys! I wanted them to have cool clothes.
I never had a girl and that is probably why I spend so much time making girls clothes now. I love girly girl wear! So here are some pictures of my boy wear.
We have cowboy rock
We also have surf wear!
