Happy Pre-Mothers Day!!!

Only 1 Day to Shop for Mothers Day. Today you need to get your plan on! The big day is Sunday! Don't procrastinate. Make it happen today. Get it organized. Plan a magical day for Mom!

I am working today. So much to do. Spring is in the air and the Mayfest is in full force.
I have lots of dresses to sell!

I would love to wake up to a hand made card from my son, Christian. He is amazing. I am so excited to see what he has done!

If I wasn't working at the Mayfest Art Faire then I would think my day would go like this... I would love to go have breakfast. I love breakfast!

I would love it if took a family bike ride to use up all those calories we just ate!

You can do a Sunday bike ride that is organized:
Every second Sunday of each month from April through November (excluding October) the public will be provided with a police-escorted bike ride designed for all ages and levels. Each month will feature a unique route and destination, but all rides will start Downtown at Cheapside Park with the exception of the Blue Grass Airport ride in June, which will meet and take place only at the airport. Please come out and enjoy the weather, encourage healthy living, and promote a bike-friendly Lexington!

Bike Ride Dates and Destinations:

May 9, 2010: Mayfest and Historic Tour

YES, Mayfest. Come visit me at Mayfest so much to see and buy!

Future Bike Rides:

June 13, 2010: Blue Grass Airport

July 11, 2010: Jacobson Park

August 8, 2010: Masterson Station Park

September 12, 2010: Legacy Trail ride – will start at IMMAG and ride along the Legacy Trail

October 10, 2010: No bike ride; annual Second Sunday event Downtown

November 14, 2010: Beaumont Centre

Then because we spent so much of our energy biking, I would love my family to send me to a local spa where I could unwind and decompress... and love every breathing moment!

While I was off relaxing, the family could head back to the house and relax themselves. They could shower and change so we could go see a fun, family movie together. I am looking forward to seeing Iron Man 2! It was just released Friday.

I think a nice dinner at home after the afternoon movie would be fun. I think the kids and Dad can make some great homemade spaghetti and make it with some sausage and meat sauce. Lots of parmasean cheese and some great garlic bread. Nothing beats spaghetti!

That would complete my Mothers Day 2010 in so many ways. I look forward to Sunday!

FISH TACOS WITH CABBAGE AND LIME
Serves: 4 / Preparation time: 10 minutes / Total time: 25 minutes
1 pound boneless, skinless tilapia fillets, cut into 2-inch pieces
2 tablespoons olive oil
Coarse salt and ground pepper
1/4 cup regular or reduced-fat sour cream

Time To Dry Out!

Well thank goodness we are going to have some time to dry out. I have a friend in Franklin, TN who said they are okay but a great many people are not so close to them. Our prayers go out to those who have been displaced by this weather. With the economy the way it is, stuff like this is enough to push you over the edge.

I should have been highlighting some of my golashes! Take a peek!

Nothing says Rocker like these!

And I am pretty sure that it won't even have to be wet outside to have your little rocker wearing these!

*** Reminder... It's Mother's Day on Sunday, YES! THIS Sunday! ****

Think of how you can dedicate your Sunday to your Mom! She is a one of a kind being who was here to give you life. So celebrate her. If it is a simple card, a huge bouquet of flowers, breakfast out, or maybe a home cooked meal... do it with love and be sure to shower her with kisses and hugs! Mom's are great so get ready to celebrate her day! Only 6 days until the big day!

Let's pray for Nashville, I will stop my complaining now!

I am going to stop complaining about the weather. Nashville and Tennessee are experiencing the worst flooding in years. My prayers go out to them and all of those who have been evacuated!

With any luck, after this heavy morning fog that we have ... we will be able to stay dry and actually see some sunshine. Layers are the way to dress on days like this.

This is how to dress your little princess today. It is one of my favorite photos and of course, I chose it for my logo on my Etsy site.

You can shop online at my Etsy site.

Rain Rain Go Away ... Come Back Another Day!

Severe weather storms in Kentucky today. Apparently Mother Nature doesn't care much if it is that time of year, The Kentucky Derby!

Since I have time today, no thanks to the weather, let me tell you if you don't already know. Childrens Motrin has been recalled. If you have this on your shelf or in your medicine cabinet. Throw it away.

I could do paper dolls today or play dress up... will you join me?

First you buy my dress:

for fun we are going to play with some fun ideas....

On a rainy day I have to do something that takes my mind off of the things I would be doing if it weren't so stormy! This was fun. Come let me dress your little girl today. The day would fly by!
